SiriusPoint names head of London US casualty


SiriusPoint has announced the appointment of Phil Woodbridge (pictured above) as head of London US casualty, effective Sept. 5.

In his new role, Woodbridge will focus on growing the company’s US casualty treaty book. He will be based in London and will report to Nick Pascall, head of London and international casualty.

Woodbridge has more than 25 years of experience in US casualty markets. He joins SiriusPoint from MS Amlin Syndicate, where he spent 12 years in various roles, most recently as chief underwriting officer for reinsurance. He has also served as a US liability class underwriter at Argo Group. Woodbridge began his career as a liability underwriter at Faraday in London.
