Aon sponsors returning agriculture event

8 August 2022

Global professional services firm Aon will be a leading sponsor for this year’s AgQuip field days event from August 16 to 18, as it marks its return following a two-year covid-induced hiatus.

The agricultural industry spotlight event will be held on a dedicated site just west of Gunnedah, NSW, and is expected to have more than 100,000 attendees from across Australia and overseas as it celebrates its 49th anniversary.

AgQuip GM Kate Nugent says Aon has been a critical partner for the industry and that she is delighted to have secured its sponsorship for the first time.

“As agribusiness specialists, Aon has supported the nation’s farmers for more than three decades, through some of the most trying of times, and it’s very fitting they’ve come on board to celebrate AgQuip’s return to normal operations,” Ms Nugent said.

Aon National Agribusiness Director Jacintha Borg says the firm is committed to having a key role in supporting regional business.

“Our agriculture industry forms an integral part of Australia’s social, economic and environmental sustainability, and as one of Australia’s largest risk and insurance advisers, we recognise the contribution agribusiness makes to local communities and the national economy,” Ms Borg said.

Notable events expected at the event include the Agri-Tech and Education exhibitions highlighting the newest industry technologies and strategies, as well as a list of other seminars and live demonstrations.

Tickets can be pre-purchased for half price or purchased on the day of the event.
