8 August 2022

Insurtech Australia (IA) has welcomed two new insurtech members as well as its latest ecosystem partner, law firm Hamilton Locke.

Melbourne-based insurtech Behave & Save is a vehicle telematics platform with embedded capabilities for usage and behavioural-based car insurance.

Brisbane-based Staunch specialises in predictive risk intelligence software that matches worker abilities with job demands to reduce workplace injuries via its JobFit platform. Founder Jenny Legge is a physiotherapist and ergonomist, frustrated with the waste of resources and inefficiency in the workers’ compensation sector.

Insurtech Australia also says submissions to the Tenth Annual Australian Growth Company Awards, sponsored by Hamilton Locke, SOURCE and WTW, close tomorrow and include a fintech prize along with several other categories potentially suited to insurtechs. Submissions can be made here.
