PROLINK celebrates 40th anniversary

PROLINK Insurance is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year by looking back at its long history of business.

The brokerage was founded in 1982 by Wolf Leue, Joe McCabe and Paul Stevenson. Originally going by the name “Leue McCabe Stevenson Ltd.,” the company was established on the principles of integrity, honesty and caring, a release said.

What started as a three-person operation has since grown into a team of more than 100 dedicated individuals. PROLINK now serves over 80,000 clients and 4,000 businesses, securing its spot as one of Canada’s largest independent brokerages.

“PROLINK would like to thank our employees, clients, insurer and industry partners, for trusting us for 40 years,” said PROLINK president and CEO Derrick Leue. “We will continue to focus on becoming ever easier to do business with to reduce friction and bring value to all who interact with us.”

A company release said that PROLINK will “continue to invest in people, education, and technology to drive differentiated value across every touchpoint with employees, clients, and industry partners alike,” and that the company looks forward to serving the community for another 40 years.
