Insurance keeps taking money out of wife’s paycheck

So about to months ago my wife got the option to sign up for work insurance, so we took a look at the plans. We ended up thinking it was too expensive and just closed the page. We found out about a month ago they’ve been taking about 300-400 out of her last 4 paychecks. We called after we noticed they took money out of the second check and they said they would stop the plan and see if we would get a refund back, they didn’t on the third check again they charged my wife so we called again and they said they took me off the plan but that they would cancel it completely, again no. My wife got charged again this morning. They’ve taken a little over 1k from us and they keep saying that they have to see if the manager or whoever will even refund us the money.

I feel like i have to reiterate, we never signed up for this insurance, we took a look at the plans, but we have no idea what we were even signed up for because we never choose a plan. Is there anything we can do except keep calling these people and hope they give us our money back?
