Young with a baby, need life insurance

What’s up yall, my partner and I were blessed with a beautiful baby girl 6 months ago. I’ve been thinking about getting life insurance in case anything happens to me. I am a 23 year old male. Very active (walk 5 to 8 miles a day due to my job) , workout 4 days a week. Weight training and cardio. Eat healthy , overall , I am in the best shape of my life with no health issues. However, I don’t have that much money. Student loans, car loan, rent, grocies etc…i am the bread winner of the house (girlfriend stay at home mom for now). I make 40k a year. But due to all the expenses I don’t have much left over. I am thinking of getting a term life insurance of something like 10 year, 250-500k for the beneficiary if I die. I want something cheap for now. My job has great room for growth and I am confident 10 years from now I could be making almost double or more what I am now and hopefully get whole life and better rate.

I’m looking for suggestions as to what to do? Insurance company recommendations? Also, as stated. We are not married yet. But plan on getring married later this year. Do I get a better rate if I’m married? Or nah? So new to all this 😅 Or what else to consider Thanks a lot!
