Genesis FlexCare / Planstin PHCS Network

Hi everyone, hoping someone can help me out … I can’t find much online about this. I had a health insurance agency enroll me in a plan called Genesis FlexCare via an insurance company called Planstin, which utilizes something called a PHCS PPO Network, and also something called “Multiplan”. I was told this is a private state sectored insurance plan, that they aren’t advertised so that’s why I’ve never heard of it, and the agent kept ensuring me that the plan was great, blah blah. They tried to tell me the reason I’ve never heard of this is because it’s similar to how super expensive car brands don’t have TV commercials… okaaay, lol.

Anyway, long story short, I found out the cost of the “health insurance” portion I signed up for is only 193.00/mo. and that I have NO deductible, that I can go directly to any doctor I want as long as they’re in the network and they told me most accept this insurance etc. So, to me, seems too good to be true – why is it so dirt cheap? There has got to be a catch. For example, through my employer I was paying 400.00/mo. and I was quoted through the ACA at 500+/mo. The agent told me the reason those plans were costly is because I was paying into plans that also cover sick people (or something to that effect), and that the private sectored plans are limited and not offered to just anyone, alluding to an idea that I got some special access because I have no pre-existing conditions, etc. (which by the way, there was no verification on my health history at all – really, anyone coulda signed up for this plan imo). I can’t help but thinking there is a major catch, and/or it’s some type of scam. Anyone know what’s up with this or have experience with it?
