Is Civil Air Patrol worth?

Civil Air Patrol is a volunteer program, if you are looking to get paid do not join. Specifically focused on building leaders. The program is really great, I have made many friends and there are so many wonderful opportunities. Definitely worth it for someone interested in a military background.
