Cyber, floods to feature at AICLA Queensland event

Challenges from the flooding catastrophe and cyber insurance issues will be among topics featured at next week’s Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters Queensland claims conference.

Speakers at the flooding session will include representatives from the Insurance Council of Australia, Zurich, ARC Projects, Sedgwick and Charles Taylor.

Spark Helmore Lawyers Partner Kiley Hodges will discuss the decade of litigation since the 2011 Queensland floods, and Berkshire Hathaway Speciality Insurance Head of Claims Susan Donaldson will speak on customer expectations in claims and developments in cyber policies.

Sedgwick Director Forensic Advisory Services Andrew Cardamis is also scheduled to present on business interruption differences in property and cyber claims.

The event will be held on Thursday next week at the Pullman Brisbane from 7.30am to 2pm.
